As I reflect on 2012, contemplating the wealth of this years themes,  what will I choose to write today which will reflect and capture 353 of my previous days? And how will I  then wrap this year into one package? I loose FOCUS at the pile of gifts staring back at me which literally need to be wrapped!   It’s the sight of unwrapped gifts that remind me of my own focus.  Where have I been concentrating on my own environment while ignoring other aspects? Where have my light rays been aimed this year illuminating a brightness towards pieces of the entire picture of my life?

 As an artist it’s been on “Out of Studio” kinda year.   I will not look back on 2012 with any measurement of how my art grew on canvas.  I logged few hours towards the 10,000 hours needed to master ones focus.

AND, in those thoughts my artist still says “it been a Merry and Bright Year!  hmmm It is true The artist in me spoke louder this year then before,  gaining courage and a clearer voice.  I see her reflection throughout the year trimming life’s daily rituals by adding a shimmer to the everyday routine of monotonous chores and duties.  And then those “Other” creative projects I choose this year.

AND, what has been good for 2012 stays in 2012!   2013 wants something NEW for her YEAR.  So the gift to me will be….

2013 becomes a new playground and opportunity to expand my focus (See Playing with Paint Class Dates for 2013).  Life is already providing me a glimpse of what’s to come, I’m full of excitement for the times when my focus and your focus converge.  If your artist is yearning to play, your ready to tune up those creative energies or feel drawn into a collaboration project I’ve opened my calendar and am ready to create!    I”m calling on the artist in you to converge with the artisit in  me.  How it looks I’ll let you know in 365 days!  I may be speaking directly to you or I may be speaking to you for a very speical loved one that you desire to give the gift of creative focus for 2013.  I just deleted the ways this can look because it’s infinite and unigue and intimate and reguires both parties to converge and find the focus that we may be together.

My focus is to spend the remaining 19 days remaining focused on all the Merry and Bright this year in it’s accumulation will be AND also opening up to the gift 2013 will be with the compounded interest of all the focus 40 years converging will be for me!
