Spring Gallery Night 2015 reveals a sweet treat! The Reveal of 2 objects whose design started to come into sight during 2014.  Fort Worth’s Arts Council created a platform to reach out and invite the community to see Art come to Life!  Starting in June 2014 the development team (Chelsea & Team Dufrene) of the Arts Council came to me with a vision to activate “Young Patrons” with creating a piece of Art which would travel with them and be created during the experience throughout the year.

This community engagement created an experience for local artist to share their talents, invite the viewer to create with them & produce an object together which will forever tell the story of Fort Worth local Art Culture in 2014.  This project is more than my words can capture for the meaning must be defined by the local artist who participated in facilitating this process, the Patrons who gave and received an expierence where they could translate themselves into a work of art and to The Arts Council for continuing to create a space in our community for Art to be the connection between the patron and artist.

Come see the Art Reveal and find out how the viewer became the subject matter, then became the artist, the critic, then back to the viewer while all along being the subject.

The 2nd project was the Pop uP studio during the 2014 Toast Event.  Art Patrons became the artist in the moment to collaborate on “Talented in Fort Worth” this piece marked the start of the first Pop uP studio Collection.

I just heard a visitor to your gallery say: we need a place like this. Wow! I believe that living artists are vital to a city’s–Fort Worth’s–well-being! I am showing my support by showing up tonight and giving of my treasure to the space and the Arts Council! To any one who believes that art is vital — how will you show your support? Come on down!

    • I love what Kinderplatz is doing for children ages 2-6. I will be donating an Art Experience to the Spring FundRaiser in honor of my young artist Sydney Lauren and to every young and older artist child on a mission to explore and reveal their imagination and creativity!

So wish I could be there to participate in the discussion. This is very important since Karen told the arts organizations there was a new process I know they worked very hard on it. I don’t know how the panelists were selected; their qualifications, etc

It may need a little tweaking? I am currently traveling and cannot conference call. Good luck to all. Please participate! Bill
